Table Tennis: Udaya and Hansani to lead Sri Lanka at South Asian competition

Udaya Ranasinghe of Vidyartha College and Hansani Piyumila of Visakha Vidyalaya will lead the Junior Boys and Girls teams at the South Asian Cadet and Junior Table Tennis Championships 2016 on July 15 to 17 at the Toyata Gymnasium, Habib Public School, Karachchi Pakistan. 

The tournament organised by the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation under the authority of the South Asian Table Tennis Federation will be conducted in four categories - Junior Boys and Girls, Cadet Boys and Girls. 

Helitha Hendawatharana of Royal College and Thanushi Rodrigo of Mahamaya College, Kandy will lead the Cadet Boys and Girls teams respectively. A contingent of 14 players and four officials will take wing this week to Pakistan. 

Junior Boys: Imesh Udaya Ranasinghe (Vidyartha College, Kandy), Krishan Wickremaratne (Vidyartha College, Kandy), Supuna Warusawithana (Ananda College), Dishanka Thennekoon (Dharmaraja College, Kandy) 

Junior Girls: Hansani Piyumila (Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo), Chamathsara Fernando (Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo), Muthumali Priyadarshani (Devananda College, Ambalangoda), Sheshala Bandara (Mahamaya College, Kandy) 

Cadet Boys: Helitha Hendawitharana (Royal College, Colombo), Harshana Karandawela (Vidyartha College, Kandy), Thenuka Ubhayasena (Kegalu Vidyalaya, Kegalle) 

Cadet Girls: Thanushi Rodrigo (Mahamaya College, Kandy), Imasha De Silva (Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda), Natasha Sandavini (Viskha Vidyalaya, Colombo) 

Manager and Lady Chaperon: Asokamala Thennakoon

Coaches: Namal Gunesekera and Buddhika Dikkumbura
