U-15 Cricket: St. Sebastian’s advance to semi-finals

St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa advanced to the semi-final of the Under-15 Division I Cricket Tournament with a comfortable 55 runs over Vidyaloka MV Galle in the quarter-final encounter played at Darley Road. 

St. Sebastian’s taking first lease of the wicket guided by a half ton from Savindu Roshan made a modest score of 218 and Vidyaloka MV despite a knock of 86 made by Shonal Ransara was able to muster a score of only 163 runs. 

The four quarter-final matches of the Under -15 Division II Cricket Tournament which was concluded saw Royal B along with Dharmaloka MV Kelaniya, Rajasinghe Central Hanwella and St. Peter’s Negombo making it to the semi-finals by securing wins against St. Sebastian’s B by 55 runs, Prince of Wales B by one wicket, Homagama Central by five wickets and Kirindiwela Central by four runs.
