The Sri Lanka Under-19 football team will take wing to Tajikistan to take part in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-19 Qualifying Round which will be held from October 31 to November 9 at Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The tournament is conducted by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Sri Lanka will participate from Group 'B' which includes Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh and Maldives.
Sri Lanka will play four matches in the competition.
The first match will be against Maldives on Tuesday (31).
The second game will be against Uzbekistan on November 2.
The third game will be against Tajikistan on November 4 and on November 8 Sri Lanka will be pitted against Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka will be led by Shehan Thivanka of St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya.
The Sri Lanka team left for Tajikistan on Sunday (30).
