Teachers and principal unions today carried out protest at the town hall area calling the Rajapaksa regime to step down adhering to the people’s will.
The teachers and principals held banners saying bow to the people’s demand and the oppressive government to go home.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that unilateral action by the UK and other countries in imposing sanctions on certain individuals do not assist but serve to complicate the national reconciliation process underway in Sri Lanka.
