The German government has taken the initiative to pass a law to attract migrant foreign workers to the country, the BBC reported.
This decision was passed in Bundestag, Germany last Friday citing the severe labour shortage they have in their labour market.
German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stated in a press conference that the nation has a shortage of over two-million jobs and is looking forward to attracting around 400,000 skilled workers from around the world.
The workers will be chosen based on the Canada-based point system considering the migrant's age, skills, qualifications and any link with Germany.
This labour shortage problem occurred due to the highly ageing population.
