" Professor Barry Marshall revolutionised the treatment of stomach ulcers around the world when he proved that ulcers are in fact caused by a bacterium called helicobacter pylori, rather than stress and poor diet as was believed for decades. In 2005, Prof Marshall and Dr Robin Warren received the Nobel Prize in Medicine for their life-changing discovery.

Western Australian Exhibition and Seminar with Aspirations Education will be held on Sunday October 4 at Galadari Hotel from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The session will commence with a one hour seminar at 1.30 pm followed by the exhibition at 2.30 pm. Students will have the opportunity to not only explore the various educational avenues that are available in a wide variety of disciplines, but also to inquire and compare fees charged, facilities provided, and financial assistance available at each university or institute in Perth.
