Royal and Nalanda qualified to the quarter finals of the Munchee Youth 19 T20 cricket tournament with the pre-quarter final being decided by the toss of a coin due to bad weather making play impossible.
The matches were the remaining two pre-quarter finals to be completed where Royal was due to contest Mahinda while Nalanda is being pitted against their traditional rivals Ananda.
The organizers tried their best to at least decide the match after five overs but conditions underfoot prevented any proceedings.
