NCUK International Foundation Year and International Diploma come to Sri Lanka
Yes! NCUK has teamed up with ANC, a well-known and long established University College, which has been delivering these UK university programmes for the last two years and has successfully transferred two batches to NCUK member and partner universities.
Students who wish to specialise in pathways offered at Int. Dip level are able to stay in Sri Lanka for two years after 0/Ls before proceeding to UK for just two more years to complete their BA/BSc/BEng degrees. IFY students in other areas can gain entry to UK universities after just one year from 0/Ls.
Banuka Sirilal
I joined the NCUK International Foundation Year after completing my O/Ls at Elizabeth Moir School.
By taking IFY Instead of A/Ls I was able to transfer to a university in UK much sooner. In September 2009 after one year of IFY study, I transferred to the University of Liverpool and currently I am studying Civil Engineering.
