Korean investors at the meeting |
A group of Korean businessmen visiting Sri Lanka were last week urged to ‘discover Sri Lanka and invest” by Mahen Kariyawasan, President of the Sri Lanka – Korea Economic Co-operation Committee.
He made the comment during a meeting with the group of Korean business delegation at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on August 5.
The Sri Lanka – Korea Economic Co-operation Committee (SLKECC), in association with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, organized a business networking session for the 9-member delegation from the Korea Business Incubating Center of the Korea Trade Investment Promoting Agency (KOTRA) India. More than 20 representatives of local companies attended the networking session.
Mr. Kariyawasan and invited the delegation to consider investing in Sri Lanka, specially in infrastructure projects where the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka is offering many incentives for foreign investors. |
