The students of Hejaaz International School have excelled in Performing Arts displaying extraordinary talent at the Sri Lanka Festival for the Performing Arts 2010 - Affiliated to the British and International Federation Of Festivals (Patron -Her Majesty The Queen)which was conducted from May 17 to July 4. The students participated in a variety of categories such as Prose Reading, Prose Speaking, Public Speaking, Television Newsreading and Verse Speaking.

The Hejaazites won 44 Gold medals, 140 Silver medals and 79 Bronze medals. Of the Gold medalists 11 were selected for the All -Island finals of which 3 students were adjudged All -Island winners by the adjudicators from U.K

The Teachers' award for the highest number of Gold medalists produced by a teacher and Teachers' award for the highest number of entries of participants was awarded to the Schools' Elocution teacher Ms Aaysha Ifthikar.
