Truman State University has been hosting Sri Lankan students for over twenty-five years. They have been a vibrant and unique part of our student body for years. One of our very first Sri Lankan graduates was Dr. Harsha de Silva, Member of Parliament in Sri Lanka. While we have a long history of hosting Sri Lankan students, we are always searching for ways to continue to bring more academically qualified students to our student body.
A year and a half ago while recruiting in Sri Lanka, Scholarships for USA was recommended to me by the Principal of Asian International School. I was able to meet with Priyanthi and Dissa on that visit and immediately was impressed by their professionalism and success. We signed a contract right away and have been enjoying a productive and fruitful working relationship since.

Since the signing of our initial agreement, I returned to Sri Lanka and was thoroughly impressed by the high school visits coordinated for me by Dissa. I only had a limited time in Sri Lanka, but Dissa managed to coordinate several school visits in both Colombo and Kandy. His ability to facilitate visits with the top schools in the country was impressive to me.
Priyanthi also visited Truman's campus this past January. While it is always a goal of ours to have partners visit our campus, it is one that is often not fulfilled. The fact that they took the time and expense to come to Truman spoke volumes for their commitment to working with us and giving honest, first-hand knowledge to students.
There are many agents who want to represent us internationally, but very few who do so with such integrity and dedication. From the punctual communication, to the honest representation, Scholarships for USA is a top of the line organization.
Having sent both of their children to the US to study shows their own personal connection to the process and have worked to make this information available to many Sri Lankan students. Truman is honoured to work with them, and we plan to continue to work together to give talented Sri Lankan students an affordable and quality option for education abroad.
I know Scholarships for USA has many more years of success in store for them. I wish them the best as they continue to make American education accessible to the youth of Sri Lanka.
