Royal by two runs

Royal College Colombo pulled off a thrilling 2 run win over Richmond College Galle in their under 15 division one quarterfinal played at the Moors grounds. Richmond was last year’s joint runners up.
Royal batting first were in dire straits with 5wickets down for 30 runs with right arm offie Charith Asalanka taking 4 for 27. Wicket keeper batsman Thiran Dhanapala scored 56 but Royal were all out for 141 in 43.3 overs.

The Richmond innings was reduced to 36 overs with a victory target of 129. Requiring 8 to win in the last over they only got 5.
