Council of International Schools (CIS) Asia Committee consisting of some of the most prestigious Universities and Colleges in the US recently visited Colombo to introduce seven of its members to Sri Lanka. Initiated as an add-on trip this visit was coordinated by Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd (www.scholarshipsforusa.com) who are committed to make USA the number one higher education partner for Sri Lanka.
According to Scholarships for USA who celebrate its tenth anniversary of placing the largest number of most deserving Lankan youth from all corners of the Island, this inaugural visit took 4 years in the making working hand in hand with Kristin Crosby the currant chairman if the Asia Committee and the plans are to make Colombo a regular stopover for US groups (such as CIS) when touring the region.
