Pregnant Asst. Div. Sec. found dead at home

By Sumanasiri Gunatillake

Police are probing the death of an Assistant Divisional Secretary in the Sevanagala area, who was found dead in her house yesterday morning.

Police said that Ms Rasika Paragahagoda, 35, who was seven-months pregnant, had vomited after she had taken her meals on Friday, and thereafter gone to sleep on a mat spread on the floor. Her husband told police that he found her dead when he woke up in the morning. A Magisterial inquiry and the postmortem was due to be held last evening.
