A top level delegation of Toastmasters International (TMI) including the organization’s Executive Director, Mr. Daniel Rex and Managing Director - Communication & Development, Ms. Sally Cohen; District Governor of Japan BunzoSuzili; District Governor of Taiwan Ms. Grace and DTM LGM Joy Tsai visited Sri Lanka recently.
 The foreign delegation and the International Director for Region 13 – South Asia, DTM ArunasalamBalraj were welcomed on their arrival to the island at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport by the District Governor DTM Zameen M Saleem and a team of Sri Lankan toastmasters.
During a brief stay in the island, Mr. Daniel Rex and Ms. Sally Cohen also addressed a gathering organized by Ralph Toastmasters Club held at the Grand Oriental Hotel Colombo.
Toastmasters International is the global leader in communication and leadership development. Headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, the organization has members in 116 countries with a membership that is currently standing at 270,000. Since 1924, Toastmasters helped people around the globe to become confident individuals though its communication and leadership tracks and presently there are 70 Toastmasters Clubs in Sri Lanka.
