Following the immensely successful “Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat” in 2007, Asian International School is gearing up for its next jaw-dropping performance, “The Best of Broadway”, directed by the renowned Vinodh Senadeera, with musical direction supported by Natalie Gooneratne.
The performance showcases the talents of children aged between 10 and18. Presenting an eclectic mix of song and dance from a range of phenomenal musicals such as “Phantom of the Opera”, “Blood Brothers”, “The Sound of Music”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Mamma Mia”, “Oliver Twist” etc., this production is guaranteed to keep you glued to your seat and asking for more!
It is truly a portrayal of student effort, choreographed by a senior, Tara Weerasinghe, and organized by the Prefects’ Guild of AIS 2011/2012.
The production will be staged on the 10th, 11th and 12th February (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at the Lionel Wendt.
The Box plan will be available soon at AIS and the Lionel Wendt.
Be sure not to miss this vibrant journey on Broadway!
