The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) the world’s leading and largest professional body of Management Accountants recently released the results of the November 2011 examinations.
The November 2011 exam results which marks the fourth diet of examinations under the 2010 syllabus has seen strong student performances from around the world which proves that dedication and study can produce exemplary results. It also saw the emergence of 294 students completing all examinations of the Institute making 2011 a very successful year for CIMA with the passing out of 686 graduates.
CIMA is pleased to announce that Sri Lanka has secured three world prizes at the CIMA examinations held in November 2011. Seyeda Mowhiba Hibshy Mowlana won the world prizes for Performance Operations and Financial Operations by obtaining 94 and 92 marks respectively whilst Anushka Madurasinghe was awarded the world prize for the CPGA paper by securing 79 marks. The outstanding performance of Sri Lankan students at the November 2011 examinations are a testimony of the dedication and the competence of the CIMA tutors in Sri Lanka.
CIMA has continued to work with quality learning partners to expand CIMA’s examination capacity and availability to provide stakeholders with greater choice and flexibility. In March 2012 both the T4 part B Case Study and Strategic level papers will be available in Sri Lanka as PC based exams to allow resit opportunity for students and facilitate faster examination progression.
