Taj Samudra organizes clean up of Galle Face Green

Taj Samudra Hotel, a supporter of green economy and environmental sustainability, on June 5 conducted a tree plantation drive and volunteer clean up of Galle Face Green to mark World Environmental Day.

Hotel General Manager Rohit Khosla and the guests of honour Ravi Shanker, CEO of TATA Communications in Sri Lanka and inhouse guest S. Dasan and family from Dubai planted six mango trees to mark the occasion at the North lawn of the hotel.

“We believe we must set long-term objectives in terms of caring and protecting the environment. This is part of our commitment to be a good corporate citizen,” said Mr Khosla.
