Bullish sentiments from domestic traders spike Colombo shares
Bullish sentiments from domestic investors drove Colombo's market indices to early gains on Thursday, analysts said.
The All share Price Index advanced sharply by 23 index points or 0.31 per cent to stand at 7,222.26 by 11 am despite the increase in weekly Treasury bill auction. The S&P SL 20 Index was at 4,053.71 with a gain of 16.59 points or 0.41 per cent by this time.
The Daily market turnover was Rs 534 million with High net worth and institutional participation witnessed in blue chips such as Commercial Bank.
