For a record breaking of nine consecutive years, Sri Lanka’s cement brand INSEE SANSTHA has once again being voted ‘People’s Housing and Construction Brand of the Year’ at the SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards held this year.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), the SLIM-Nielsen People’s Awards reflect the ‘voice of the people’, and is a highly anticipated, distinct recognition with the public voting for their favourite brands across multiple sectors. With 1 in every 3 homes in the country built with INSEE SANSTHA Cement, the brand is voted as the Number 1 People’s Choice for Housing and Construction in the nationwide survey, the company said in a media release this week.
“Our commitment to continuously sustain the high-quality and performance of the SANSTHA brand through constant product and process innovation has been rewarded yet again by the Sri Lankans,” said Jan Kunigk, Executive Vice President/ Director Marketing, Sales & Innovation of INSEE Cement Sri Lanka. “The loyalty and deep-rooted connection towards the SANSTHA cement brand has empowered us to uplift the performance standards of INSEE cement and concrete product solutions range, as well advance its usability and benefits.”
He further stated, “We thank our loyal customers including home building communities, masons, head masons, contractors, technical officers, engineers, architects, dealers, and distributors, once again for this honour, for choosing Sanstha Cement as the people’s brand. We assure you of our unrelenting efforts to elevate Sri Lanka’s construction industry to globally accepted standards.”
The release said that INSEE SANSTHA produces higher strength and durability of concrete with an increased level of workability and significantly lower water demand to suit the consumer needs, climate-change mitigation and expectations in the market.
