This year a traditional Christmas Village will come alive with all the festivities on the lawn at Water's Edge. On December 03, the beautifully landscaped Grand Lawn will be “The Kiddies Christmas Village” where a merry-go- round, carnival Ferris wheel, bouncy castles, toy trains and tons of fun activities like water walkers and zorb balls will keep kids occupied for hours on end.
And then there’s the galore of Christmas goodies turned out by the award winning culinary team at Waters Edge. There’ll be savouries and sweet treats all colourful and Christmas themed laid out in one of the largest buffets in the country. This year’s overboard buffet spread will feature rainbow sandwiches, colourful stuffed eggs, mini corn dogs, crab croquettes, assorted éclairs and macaroons, chocolate trees, mini Yule logs, Christmas cookies and cupcakes and the all important chocolate fountain.
Action stations serving up piping hot French Fries and Sausages and typical carnival treats like Candy Floss and Ice-Cream will keep the parents busy too, a statement from the hotel said.
The highlight of the party will be Santa’s arrival on a sea-plane. The grand Christmas experience will be priced at Rs. 2,600 nett per guest. Kids below 4 years of age will walk in free of charge.
