Welcoming in the New Year, the grand old Galle Face Hotel has introduced exclusive experiences for guests with a Galle Face Hotel Expeditions Department and a Hotel Historian, the first of its kind in the Sri Lankan hotel industry.
“The Expedition Agents will be knowledgeable individuals who are specially trained to ensure guests are given every opportunity to experience all the wonderful and diverse sights, sounds and experiences of Sri Lanka, while the hotel’s museum will be headed by the Galle Face Hotel’s historian to educate our guests on the historical importance of the hotel, Colombo and Sri Lanka. The historian will conduct regular journeys of historical and architectural interest throughout the hotel, give lectures and maintain the valuable hotel archives,” said Antony Paton, General Manager.
