The Education Ministry will await Health guidelines to decide on reopening of schools in the Western Province from next week, Education Minister G.L.Peiris said today.
Minister Peiris told a news conference that arrangements have been made to reopen schools in all parts of the country, but for Western Province the Health Authorities need to give guidelines.
He said already they have sought guidelines from the Health Ministry and they were expecting a response in the next two days.
