President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Payoe as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF), with effect from yesterday, Air Force said.
Accordingly, Air Vice Marshal Prasanna Payoe received the letter of appointment from the Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana at a function held at the Air Force Headquarters yesterday morning.
