A 20-year-old man has been arrested in the Nugegoda area for sexually abusing a child nearly six years old, police said.
The youth who is a married person had videoed the abuse of the child and shared it among his friends.
The child was five years and eight months old.
Police has obtained a court order to detain the suspect for 72 hours and further question him.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
