The body of an Air Force flight sergeant has been discovered at the Airport Road in Ratmalana.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine whether he had died due to foul play as the officer was found with injuries to the head.
The deceased is reportedly 40-year-old.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
