Mahason Balakaya Movement Leader, Amith Weerasinghe, has been remanded until tomorrow (May 29) over charges of inciting communal tensions in the country.
During a hearing, the Colombo Magistrate's Court instructed the Police Organised Crimes Preventive Division to submit a complete report containing evidence against the accused tomorrow.
The Police claim that Weerasinghe had posted content on the internet which was deemed offensive to religious coexistence.
