Colombo Defence Seminar 2016 begins

The Colombo Defence Seminar 2016 commenced this morning (1) at the BMICH. The theme of this year's conference is 'Soft Power and Its Influence on Global Issues.' Defence Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi delivered the keynote address. State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardena, Army Commander Lt. General Chrishanthe De Silva and Minister, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka were among those in attendence. The seminar concludes tomorrow.
