The deadline to accept applications for postal voting which was due to end today (Sept 30) has been extended until October 4, the Election Commission said.
Postal voting for the presidential election is scheduled to be held on October 30 and 31.
Police department and elections officials would be able to cast their vote on November 1, the Elections Secretariat said.
The presidential election is to be held on November 16.
