Estate worker protest blocks road in Colombo

The road from Lotus Rounderbout to the Presidential Secretariat is currently blocked owing to a protest staged by estate workers. 

Heavy traffic is currently reported in the area. 

Estate workers have been staging protest throughout the country for the past several weeks demanding a hike in wages.
