Two suspects have been detained by the Uppuveli Police after being arrested over their alleged involvement in last Sunday's terror attacks.
Initially, Navy officials had taken six suspects into custody after being tipped-off on their whereabouts before a raid in the Uppuveli area this evening.
Measures were taken to handover the six suspects to the Uppuveli Police. Therafter four persons had been released.
However, two others had been detained by the police in order to establish their identities. So far, it has been revealed that the two suspects are workers in the Thoppur area.

Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
