A further 24 COVID-19 patients have been confirmed this morning (20), Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe stated.
The latest patients are all those from Bandaranaike Mawatha in Colombo 12, which is presently under quarantine.
Accordingly, the number of COVID-19 patients in the country has now risen to 295.
Fifteen patients were also reported yesterday (19).
