In continuation of the press release issued by the High Commission of India, Colombo dated 12 March 2020, the Government of India has announced that the Visa free travel facility granted to Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders shall continue to be kept in abeyance till May 3rd 2020, a statement from the High Commission said today.
Any OCI card holder who intends to travel to India for a compelling reason may contact the nearest Indian Mission. In case of persons holding OCI card who are already in India, the OCI card shall remain valid for their stay in India for any length of time.
