Former Self Employed Persons' Federation leader Mahindarathna Kahandagamage who has been charged for illegally collecting money from shop keepers was ordered to be further remanded till March 20th. The Colombo chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya also ordered the Secretary of the Federation Ashoka Hettiarachi and Treasurer Lakshmendra Kumara de Silva of the Federation was allowed a personnel bail of Rs 50 000 bail and a sorority bail of Rs 5 million each. The Magistrate had also ordered that the persons bailed are not allowed to enter their offices.
