The National Police Commission (NPC) and the Human Rights Commission (HRC) are to conduct separate investigations into the brutal assault by riot Police on Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) students protesting opposite the University Grants Commission on Thursday.
The two commission members will conduct thorough investigations into this incident which left seven students injured.
The commission members will summon the senior police officers who allegedly gave orders to assault the students.
The two commissions have already received complaints from the students who were subject to police attack and the human rights organizations seeking their immediate intervention to do justice to these students.
