President Maithripala Sirisena has reportedly paid a visit to Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Ven Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero yesterday (May 19).
It is reported that the President had paid a visit to the Thero at the Prisons Hospital.
According to prison sources, Mr. Sirisena had visited the BBS General Secretary after the ceremony which was held to release more than 700 inmates on presidential pardon in keeping with the Vesak Festival on Saturday.
Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
