The Ministry of Fisheries Aquatic Resources Development states that retail trading at the Peliyagoda Fish Market has been suspended until further notice.
Issuing a statement, the ministry stated that the decision was taken as part of efforts to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
Accordingly, only wholesale trading will be conducted at the Peliyagoda Fish Market, with retail trading being suspended.
