The suspect arrested in connection to the murder of a 6 year old girl in Wadukotte, Jaffna was remanded till July 11.
The order was issued by the Mallakam Magistarte's Court.
The body of a 6 year old girl was found in a public well in Wadukotte on Monday evening. The post mortem examination conducted yesterday revealed the girl had been strangled to death.
The suspect arrested over the incident is a 22 year old resident of Sulipuram, Jaffna
