A suspect has been arrested with several National Identity Cards and passports in Welimada yesterday (May 26).
The arrest was made during a search operation carried out by the Army last evening.
A total of 56 NICs belonging to several individuals were seized along with three passports from the suspect.
Further, account details of 103 bank accounts from which money had been transferred to his account was also discovered.
The suspect has been handed over to the Police for further investigations.
