A suspect who was convicted over the 2008 suicide bombing which killed 30 persons including Major General Janaka Perera, was handed a life imprisonment term and a 60-year term to be served separately, yesterday (May 21).
Umar Habbab, who was named as the second respondent to the case, was found guilty over 31 out of 48 charges levelled against him by the Attorney General.
