Reports on two more PCR tests carried out on the Russian national suspected to have been infected by COVID-19 in Matara are due, Director General of the Government Information Department Nalaka Kaluwewa said.
He was reacting to reports on Friday that the latest test has proved that the Russian was negative to the COVID-19 test.
Mr Kaluwewa said that the reports of two more tests needed to be released to decide whether the Russian was positive or negative for COVID19.
Over 150 persons have been put on quarantine from the location where the Russian national and his colleagues were found to be staying.
