Former Minister, Patali Champika Ranawaka has been further remanded till Dec 24.
The decision was made when the former Minister who was in remand custody last night was produced before the Colombo Magistrate's Court this morning (Dec 19).
The bail application filed by the former was rejected.
Mr Ranawaka was arrested over a traffic accident which took place in 2016 on charges of causing serious injury to a person in the accident and for fleeing afterwards.
