The Wildlife Department officials recovered a four year old Sri Lankan leopard alive at Gardmore Thambedenna tea estate in Maskeliya, Hatton today. The leopard was stuck between branches of a 15 feet height tree in the estate.

The Manager of the tea plantation estate informed the police about the struggling leopard. The police, with officials of the Wildlife Department officials, arrived at the spot immediately.
