Woman drug-dealer based in Grandpass arrested

A 47 year old woman was arrested in possession of heroin and an electronic scale, the Special Task Force (STF) said today.

In a raid conducted by the Intelligence Division of the STF yesterday (February 25) in Grandpass, they were able to arrest a woman in possession of 11g 750mg of heroin and an electronic scale.

The woman, who was revealed to have been involved in drug trafficking in the area for a long time, was handed over to the Grandpass Police for further investigation.

The raid was conducted by Intelligence Division Inspector of Police, R. M. A. P. B. Rajanayake under the guidance of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sagara Kulasekara.
