The administration of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and national cricket players are currently engaged in a crucial meeting with regard to the new player contact, TimesOnline learns.
It is revealed that the players have stood firm in not signing the contracts and have even refused in some other obligations.
These include certain terms and endorsements of the International Cricket Council as well as the refusal to wear clothing with sponsors' logos.
The players, it is learned, have been given an ultimatum until 3.00pm today (7), and if continues their refusal of signing the contracts, SLC may enforce a two-year ban on such players according to reliableinformation.
