Skipper Farveez Maharoof claimed five wickets as he guided NCC to a comfortable 7-wicket win against Ragama CC in a AIA Premier Limited Overs Cricket Tournament match played at the NCC ground on Wednesday (2).
Electing to bat first Ragama CC could not make any headway as Maharoof took quick wickets to send them reeling down to 108 all out in 36 overs.
Jehan Mubarak and Chamikara Edirisinghe took two wickets each.
NCC won the match with 151 deliveries remaining.
