The Athletics Association of Sri Lanka (AASL) has made plans to conduct five examinations and three workshops during the upcoming 12 months.
The AASL's decision on its plans for the next 12 months was revealed by the Technical Committee Chairman G.L.S. Perera.
The Technical Committee also includes A.T. Nugegoda, P.H.D. Waidyathilaka, P.L.A. Samson, T.M. Devendran and the AASL Secretary, Tornado Jayasundara.
The five examinations and three workshops will commence from October 2017 and run until May 2018, with the main intention of upgrading the standards of technical officials.
1. Grade III Examination on October 8, 2017
2. Grade II Examination on October 29, 2017
3. Grade I (NTO) Examination on October, 2017
4. Annual Award Ceremony on November 25, 2017
5. Technical Official’s Philosophy Seminar on January 23, 2018
6. Grade IV Examination on February 25, 2018
7. Race Walking Seminar, Work Shop and Examination for Technical Officials Grade I, II and III
8. Starters Workshop in January and February, 2017
9. NTO Evaluation Test from May to September, 2018
