The Sri Lanka Youth netball team will leave for Hong Kong on Friday (11) to take part in the 9th Asian Youth Netball Championships.
The tournament will be held at the Mong Kok Stadium from December 14 to 20.
The Sri Lanka Youth side will be led by Gayani Dissanayake with Thisala Algama acting as her deputy.
Alongside Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, India, Brunei, Thailand, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan and hosts Hong Kong will contest for the championship.
Sri Lanka will be contesting under Pool ‘B’ and their first game will be against India on Monday (14) followed by the game against Chinese Taipei on Wednesday (16).
