In a toughly contested battle Kandy SC prevailed against Havelocks SC 18-8 in their Dialog Division ‘A’ Inter-Club Rugby League Tournament match played at Havelock Park today (2).
Kandy led the halftime 8-0 and went on to score from two tries, a conversion and a penalty.
Havelocks, were kept at bay in the first half, but managed to score from an unconverted try and a penalty.
