With the scores leveled at 24-all, a last minute penalty gave Navy SC a thrilling three-point win against Police SC in their Dialog Division ‘A’ Inter-Club Rugby League match played at Welisara on Sunday (20).
The game went to the last wire as Navy emerged victorious by 27-24 after leading 10-0 at halftime.
The winners scored from four tries, two conversions and a penalty.
Police collected their points from three converted tries and a penalty.
